Objective

The Cliff Hotels Group consists of three 5-star properties in Ireland. The Cliff House Hotel, Cliff Townhouse and Cliff at Lyons. The Group approached VROOM to help them to increase business across the leisure and M&E markets from the UK. They had no representation in the UK and relied primarily on a domestic Irish market. Although popular in Ireland, they wanted to explore the UK as a possible new market to help them yield.

Solution

VROOM’s strategy was to utilise its strong relationships with UK Agent’s and specifically target ones that specialised in M&E and the high-end leisure market. VROOM also supplemented their network with data from the hotel.

Outcome

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 work has been temporarily suspended. However, prior to lockdown and the closure of the properties VROOM achieved excellent results with several M&E leads amongst UK leisure market enquiries just 3 months into the contract. VROOM look forward to picking this back up once the hotel is open again.
