With a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry I have worked across a range of hotels from large corporate chains to small independently owned boutique hotels. From 5 star Golf & Spa resorts to city centre budget hotels.
Unlike the traditional Revenue Manager, I am creative and think ‘outside of the box’. I focus on working with the Hotel teams to think more on a global basis, looking for revenue opportunities, on a continual basis, for all departments.
Since starting VROOM, I don’t have much time for anything else apart from good food and good wine but definitely no time for running!
With over 30 years experience within the industry I have worked at a senior level within the sales, revenue and training sectors. My experience covers 5 star resorts and city centre hotels and, before joining VROOM, I was regional Director of Sales for Malmaison and Hotel du Vin.
I am passionate about our industry and love the challenge of establishing a true sales culture through individual coaching and creative, inspiring training.
With a husband in the industry and a teenage daughter time is limited but I do enjoy a glass of wine and have recently taken up running with my dog (which he at least enjoys!)
I started my career in the Conference and Events Industry over 25 years ago, working in the city for a Financial Training and Events Management company.
After having children, I changed direction, 5 years ago I took the leap and moved into the Hotel Revenue Management sector with VROOM and haven’t looked back since.
When I’m not juggling work with dog walking and recently learning to row (totally out of my comfort zone) I love to take time out to relax on a yoga mat away from it all !
I am a people person, who got into the ‘dark side’ of revenue management while continuing my passion for Digital Marketing for various hotels brands. I started my career in Revenue as a Marriott Voyage graduate, and for the last 10 years I looked after a large portfolio of 3-star and 4-star hotels across England, Scotland, and Wales.
Over the last few years, I have worked with VROOM, travelling between London and Paris, where I undertook pre-opening for an Aparthotel in Canary Wharf. Whereas on the other side of the pond, I was a Project Manager involved in lobbying on EU level focusing on issues between hotels and the online distribution channels.
Aside from work, I love to travel the world, I am a big foodie, love outdoors, and spend a lot of time with my four-legged companion.
I started my career in Sales and Marketing over 20 years ago and have worked successfully across all industry sectors. With my Account Management and Sales background I naturally build strong relationships with clients and am passionate about supporting them and their businesses grow.
I started my hospitality adventure with VROOM 4 years ago delivering sales training programmes and supporting account management and was instantly attracted to this fast paced and dynamic industry.
When not being kept on my toes by my children or puppy, Bella. I love to get out and explore through running, climbing mountains or being put very much out of my comfort zone learning to row!
