Active Hospitality purchased the Gorse Hill property in Surrey and required the support of a proactive sales team to help them grow their corporate business.
VROOM worked with the Senior Team to develop a comprehensive and targeted database working on both the direct corporates and third-party agents. In addition to this, VROOM worked on research calls, supported the implementation of a new sales system and offered Revenue Management support to make the properties offering attractive by employing promotional offers and compelling rates.
By taking responsibility of these key Sales and Revenue Management fucntions, it allowed the Senior Team at the property to interview and find the right Sales Manager to take over from VROOM’s consultation.
The hotel employed a full-time Sales Manager based on the property that was able to hit the ground running. They had a comprehensive M&E sales plan in place, a thoroughly qualified and hygiened database, and a lead referral system in place.
In addition to this project, VROOM supported the Events team with the implementation of processes and standards that are still in place today.
